Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

“Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a psychotherapy that is based on the cognitive model: the way that individuals perceive a situation is more closely connected to their reaction than the situation itself.” -Beck Institute

Rational Emotive & Cognitive Behavior Therapy-” Developed by Albert Ellis . According to RECBT it is largely our thinking about events that leads to emotional and behavioral upset. With emphasis on the present individuals are taught how to examine and challenge their unhealthful thinking ” – stated on Ellis Institute website

At Mindful Power our therapists have dedicated a large portion of their post-graduate training on CBT and RECBT interventions, including the completion of multiple certification levels via the Aaron Beck and Albert Ellis Institutes.
