At Mindful Power our therapists have dedicated a large portion of their post-graduate training on CBT and RECBT interventions, including the completion of multiple certification levels via the Aaron Beck and Albert Ellis Institutes.



Although the birth of a baby is often highlighted as a time of pure joy,
it can be one of the most challenging times in a woman’s life.

Women of various races, ethnicities, socio-economic status, educational backgrounds, and ages are all can be affected by postpartum depression (PPD) and anxiety. Individual and Group Therapy has been shown to be effective in reducing the numerous symptoms associated with PPD and anxiety.

These symptoms include:

At Mindful Power we recognize how influential technology is in our daily lives and as a result have seen the importance and strength of using it to support the enhancement of our clinical work. This includes the use of Spire, a device that measures the one’s stress, anxiety, and sleep. We then utilize the information gathered to develop a means of reducing stress and anxiety specifically targeted to the uniqueness of our clients’ needs. In addition to Spire, we integrate Meditation Apps, and Virtual Reality for addressing phobias/fears.
