Amanda Ahearn, MA, LPC, CIMHP, ACS Clinical Director Serving NJ & FL clients
Amanda is the Clinical Director of Mindful Power, LLC, Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, and Approved Clinical Supervisor with 15 years experience supporting clients towards personal growth and healing.
Having worked in both nonprofit and private practice settings, Amanda has learned that helping her clients achieve optimal mental health includes the combination of active listening, practical tools, the use of evidenced-based therapeutic models and a warm and supportive style. She is committed to providing a space where clients can heal old wounds, discover a deeper understanding of themselves and make new meaningful and self-directed choices that align with their most authentic self.
Amanda has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to treat individuals experiencing:

As a specialist in women's mental health, Amanda has had the privilege help women navigate:

Amanda also has advanced training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and offers a 12 session empirically validated treatment that is highly effective at reframing unhelpful thoughts and beliefs following a traumatic experience.

Jenny Mekkawy, LCSW Serving NJ and FL clients
Jenny is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker clinically trained in Perinatal Mental Health, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and the Gottman Method for couples therapy. With 15 years in the field, she has extensive experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy working with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, anger management, relationship instability, mood challenges, and other life stressors. She helps her clients facilitate work towards positive, realistic, and present-focused thinking and behavioral changes.
As a perinatal mental health specialist trained through the Seleni Institute, Jenny works extensively with moms and parents navigating pregnancy and postpartum challenges as well as with the many transitions of first-time parents and those growing their families. As an EMDR-trained therapist from the Personal Transformation Institute, Jenny understands the role that trauma and earlier life challenges play in current stressors, anxiety, and presenting problems. She utilizes this modality to help clients reprocess these emotionally overwhelming or stuck memories and prior experiences. As a Gottman-trained therapist, Jenny also has experience working with couples, focusing on establishing and/or regaining healthy communication, understanding, and connection with each other.
Jenny obtained her Master of Social Work degree from New York University Silver School of Social Work and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Elementary Education and Spanish from Middlebury College. Jenny takes a client-centered and holistic approach, meeting clients wherever they are in their desire for change while also utilizing goal-oriented strategies. Jenny believes in the importance of understanding one’s values to make healthy decisions and drive goal-oriented behaviors. She helps people work towards accepting things that are out of their control and working to change what is in their control to improve quality of life.

Madeleine Archambault, LPC Serving NJ clients
Maddy is a NJ Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Trauma Professional (PESI/Evergreen) who is trained in EMDR (EMDRIA Approved). She believes lasting therapeutic change happens when we meet trauma and emotions where they are stored, which is in the nervous system. Guided by this research-backed philosophy, Maddy blends cognitive and insight-oriented approaches (psychodynamic, CBT) with somatic and experiential methods (polyvagal, relational, IFS parts work, emotions-focused) to help her clients embody change rather than just cognitively or intellectually think about it. She specializes in supporting adults 1:1 who are navigating anxiety, perfectionism, codependency, perinatal/postpartum transitions, maternal mental health, and early attachment trauma.

Arianna Spatidol, LCSW Child & Adolescent Therapy Lead Serving NJ clients
Arianna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Child & Adolescent Therapy Lead of Mindful Power LLC, and Certified School Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. Arianna specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, behavior regulation challenges, and relationship difficulties.
Arianna has extensive experience in the field of youth mental health and believes in taking a whole child approach, including caretakers and other supports in the process. Arianna utilizes a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy, with a relational and strengths focused approach. Arianna believes strongly in the benefits of meeting clients where they are and aligning with their values when implementing treatment.
Arianna’s post graduate training includes eating disorders & body image, trauma informed practice, mindfulness for youth, and CBT for youth & adults through The Beck Institute. Arianna is also trained in implementing SPACE Treatment (supportive parenting for anxious childhood emotions), under Dr. Eli Lebowitz. Outside of private practice, Arianna’s experience includes roles in a variety of school settings including general education, special education, behavior management and crisis intervention.

Trina Adelung, LCSW Serving NJ clients
Trina specializes in working with children, adolescents and young adults living with anxiety, depression, ADHD, high sensitivity and emotional regulation challenges. The young people she works with often struggle with low frustration thresholds, low self-esteem, self-consciousness, rigidity and perfectionism. She utilizes CBT, EXRP, play therapy, art therapy and mindfulness to support her clients in finding more ease throughout their daily lives. Her goal is to create a space where every individual feels empowered to make healthy, safe and authentic choices that reflect who they truly are. She believes therapy can be transformative, fun and challenging all at the same time. She holds an LCSW in the state of New Jersey, has received her Master’s in Social Work from Silberman School of Social Work at CUNY Hunter and has worked with children and young people in the mental health field for nearly ten years.

Caitlin Iglehart, LPC Serving NJ clients
Caitlin Iglehart (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey. Caitlin holds a masters degree in Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology: Prevention and Treatment from the University of Washington. Caitlin is trained in CBT+ (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for anxiety, depression, behavior management, and trauma), Helping the Noncompliant Child (HNC), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Caitlin’s clinical experience includes working as youth and family therapist (ages 5-25) at a community mental health agency, in school settings, and in transitional housing facilities.
Caitlin is experienced in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression and mood disorders, impulse and behavior regulation challenges, experiencing the effects of trauma, and navigating life stressors.
Caitlin uses a culturally considerate, strengths-based, collaborative approach. She believes therapy should be an empowering process. She works hard to equip individuals and their support systems with tools to achieve positive, enduring mental health changes.

Kristen DalCortivo, LAC NBCC Serving NJ clients
Kristen is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and a National Board-Certified Counselor (NBCC) in New Jersey. She has an abundance of experience working with children who are struggling with anxiety, stress, conflict resolution, peer relationships, and related difficulties. As a current School Counselor, Kristen has a strong understanding of the various stressors children experience in today’s world. Her approach to counseling is integrative with an emphasis on Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Kristen offers real strategies her clients can use independently. She believes in the individuality of clients and the importance of creating a trusting relationship by providing a safe, non-judgemental environment.

Lesley Neadel, LSW Serving NJ clients
Lesley is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in New Jersey. She has extensive experience in the field of maternal mental health, supporting, counseling and advocating on the local and national level for new mothers. Lesley uses motivational CBT- and DBT-based skills to help manage anxiety, depression and adjustment disorders in a safe and supportive way. An avid proponent of peer support and normalizing mental health struggles, Lesley runs the “Managing the Mental Load” virtual support group for moms in addition to providing individual counseling.
Lesley previously served on the Board of Directors, and as Northern NJ Warrior Mom Ambassador, for Postpartum Progress Inc., spoke at the Partnership for Maternal & Child Health of Northern New Jersey’s “Contemporary Discussions in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders” Conference, and has completed multiple professional trainings including Mental Health First Aid, and courses via the Beck Institute, the Seleni Institute and Postpartum Support International among others.
Lesley holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from Syracuse University's SI Newhouse School of Public Communications and worked at a NYC-based PR firm for more than 12 years prior to going back to graduate school and receiving her Masters in Social Work (MSW) degree from Simmons University.

Ashley Lurker, LPC NCC Serving NJ clients
Ashley Lurker is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) in the state of New Jersey as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Ashley specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) however enjoys utilizing techniques from other orientations such as The Gottman Method, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Ashley believes that a strong therapeutic alliance is integral for successful therapy. Ashley works collaboratively and non-judgmentally with adults who wish to gain insight into their thoughts and behaviors, assisting them to establish goals that will make positive changes in their lives. She particularly enjoys helping clients find their voice so they can advocate for themselves and feel understood.
Her clinical experience includes working with adults across the lifespan seeking assistance with mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, addictions, perinatal mental health, relationship struggles, bereavement, anger management, self-esteem, and managing the stress of life transitions.
Ashley has been trained in Couples Work through the Gottman Institute and Beck Institute. She has been trained in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy for OCD through the Cognitive Behavioral Institute. She received training through Postpartum Support International for Perinatal Mood Disorders. Ashley also has received DBT Core Training through Trinitas.

Gabriela Montoya, LCSW Serving NJ clients
Gabriela is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in supporting children, teens, young adults, and families as they navigate anxiety, emotional challenges, trauma, and life transitions. She also works closely with parents and families to help strengthen communication and connection at home.
With warmth, creativity, and a trauma-informed approach, Gabriela tailors each session to the needs of the individual — whether she’s helping a child express emotions through play, guiding a teen through identity or school stress, or supporting a young adult facing anxiety, burnout, or big life decisions. She also offers parenting support grounded in empathy and practical tools — including strategies from the Nurtured Heart Approach®.
Gabriela is trained in EMDR, Play Therapy, CBT,Hypnotherapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT, and brings experience from school settings, crisis response, and residential care. Her clients describe her as grounded, nonjudgmental, and easy to talk to.
Gabby offers in-person sessions in Hoboken, as well as virtual therapy for clients across New Jersey and Connecticut.

Lorraine Gehrig Mullins, LCSW Serving NJ &NY clients
Lorraine is a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years experience. She earned her Masters degree at NYU, and a supervision certification through Rutgers. She also holds a personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Her education and experience reflects a dedication to the relationship between physical, emotional and spiritual health.
Through her career, Lorraine has had the privilege of working with individuals, youth and families in non-profit organizations and a wide-range of community based settings. Most recently, she collaborated with school teams to develop in-district mental health programs across Northern NJ. She has experience providing mental health counseling for children, adolescents and families who are struggling with school-related challenges, including anxiety, depression and school avoidance. From a fitness and wellness lens, Lorraine also has expertise providing mental health therapy for individuals who would like to master a life stage, overcome challenging emotions, improve body image and/or gain the confidence to achieve their goals.
Lorraine has completed advanced training in evidenced based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She also has advanced training in women’s emotional health and fitness through life stages including prenatal, postnatal and the menopause transition.
Lorraine’s therapeutic style is collaborative, goal oriented and strengths based. Regardless of age or life stage, sessions provide clients with space to define desired outcomes, explore past success, listen to the wisdom of physical and emotional signs and symptoms, and practice new ways of relating to self and others. For youth and families, this will likely include strategies done together to achieve success outside of the office.

Melissa Murtha, LSW Serving NJ clients
Melissa is a Licensed Social Worker with 28 years of experience working with adolescents and their families. She graduated from Rutgers with her Master’s Degree in Social Work with the focus on children and families and a concentration on group work. Melissa is currently the Clinical Director of a School Based Youth Services Program that supports children and families in focusing on the enhancement of student’s social, emotional and physical wellbeing throughout their high school experience.
Melissa’s therapeutic focus is utilizing cognitive behavioral, strength based and solution focused therapies. She believes in finding and nurturing the strengths that children have to help them not only regulate their emotions but to then succeed in school, at home and in their communities. Melissa specializes in adolescents managing anxiety, depression, trauma and loss, socialization, healthy relationships, and emotional regulation.
Melissa began her social work career working with Juvenile Justice Programs and has worked with adolescents both throughin- home therapy and in residential programs. She has always been an advocate for supporting children to be successful in their environment by identifying a child’s protective factors and natural supports. She has been in School Based Youth Services programming for the past 15 years and continues to find creative and meaningful opportunities for healthy youth development and shining the light on the importance of positive mental health in the school community.
Outside of her love of working with children, she is an avid runner and loves finding her peace at the beach and documenting her life through positive affirmations and love of the outdoors. Melissa loves setting her own personal goals and daily challenges and finds joy in seeing her clients and their families feel empowered to reach their own.

Lisa Dunn, Ph.D., MSW, LCSW Serving NJ clients
Lisa works with her clients to find their own peace and stability while moving through life's ever-present challenges.
Lisa believes in taking time to establish a warm, safe environment where meaningful work can take place. Her style is always individualized and goal-driven, based on each client's personal objectives for therapy. She believes in a humanistic, strengths-based approach that incorporates multiple therapeutic modalities. Lisa also integrates her background as a yoga and meditation instructor into her work. She is passionate about sharing an understanding of the holistic connection between body and mind.

Lisa earned her Ph.D. in Urban Systems, providing a deep understanding of historic societal inequity and it's connection to individual mental and physical health. Her professional background also includes nineteen years in education, non-profit leadership, grant-writing, advocacy and crisis intervention.

Emily Sanders, LPC Serving NJ & VA clients
Emily is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey and Virginia with over 15 years of experience. She is passionate about creating an affirming, welcoming space where clients feel safe to explore challenges, build resilience, and experience meaningful healing. Emily specializes in the treatment of trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, disordered eating, addictions, maternal mental health, and life transitions. She approaches therapy with compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique story and lived experience. She warmly welcomes individuals of all identities and backgrounds and has a strong background and interest in working with clients in the LGBTQIA+ community.
As a trauma-informed therapist, Emily recognizes that healing is not one-size-fits-all. She takes a collaborative and individualized approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs, strengths and goals. Emily believes lasting change occurs through engaging both the mind and the body, and she integrates an eclectic blend of “bottom-up” and “top-down” approaches. Her work draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, EMDR, somatic interventions, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, alongside cognitive and skills-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
At the heart of Emily’s work is the belief that a safe and secure therapeutic relationship is essential for meaningful and lasting change. She is deeply committed to ongoing professional growth and advanced clinical training. Emily holds a Level 1 certificate in advanced trauma treatment, completed advanced clinical training in maternal mental health, and is an EMDR trained therapist.

Rebekah is responsible for the practice’s operations and administrative coordination. She lives in Hoboken, New Jersey, where she has been part of the community for over 20 years. She is a married mother of two boys and feels deeply connected to the community.
Rebekah is passionate about supporting people and ensuring the practice runs smoothly from the first point of contact onward. Her role focuses on building efficient systems and providing dependable support for both clients and clinicians.
