Power of Water with Perspective Shift
– there is tons of research that demonstrates how physical health is connected to maintaining a positive mindset. In addition, during this time we could all benefit from positive impacts on our immune system and hydration provides that.
  • Choose when you will add a glass/bottle of water – In the morning? After dinner?
  • Put a note out (either in the morning or before bed) that serves as a reminder to drink the water during the time of day you choose.
  • Then combine this effort with a perspective shift/gratitude exercise…while drinking recall what were three moments of joy you experienced in the past 24 hours (such as sipping your morning coffee, eating dinner with those that you care about, completing a household task, connecting with a friend, etc).
